2 worksheets showing word wheels. There are 4 wheels on each page with a central letter in the middle and 8 letters around it. The idea is that children make up to 5 words for each wheel with the central letter in the middle. They list the words they have made. Central sounds / letters are the vowels, y, ee and oo. Y is more or a challenge as is ee and oo, depending on the level of the children. Worksheet 3 is a template so that you can add your own middle sounds to extend the activity.
